The name 'Cashmere' is derived from the old name of Kashmir and the wool originally comes from a goat found in the Himalayas. Cashmere fiber is spun into yarn, then dyed in the desired colors and knit into various items of clothing like sweaters, jerseys, scarves, etc. The Cashmere Scarf is worn by men and women alike. Being light in weight and exceptionally warm, it is easy to carry, very comfortable, and can be worn over other articles of clothing like sweaters, jackets, etc.
